Hon. Ganiyu Johnson, lawmaker representing Oshodi/Isolo constituency 2 at the lower chamber of the National Assembly has mourned the former member representing Oshodi/Isolo constituency 2 at the Lagos State House of Assembly, chief Funsho Kinoshi who died on Thursday.
In a condolence message, signed by Johnson on Friday, the lawmaker said that he received the news of the death of Kinoshi with a heavy heart, stressing that he had lost a leader, a friend and a pillar of support.
The message reads in part, “The late kinoshi was a force to reckon with in the politics of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC). He was a grassroots politician, a compassionate man and an amiable person. He made a lot impact in the lives of the people when he represented the good people of Oshodi/Isolo constituency 2 at the Lagos State House of Assembly. His contributions to the development of the constituency cannot be over emphasized. He would be greatly remembered for the legacy that he left behind.”
While lamenting that the former lawmaker died at a time when his advise would be immensely needed, the former Lagos State commissioner for works and infrastructure, said that the exit of Kinoshi had left a great vaccum, stating that the APC chieftain would be greatly missed by the people of Lagos State and Oshodi/Isolo constituency 2 in particular.
Johnson, while condoling with the family of Kinoshi said that he would not question God over the death of the late party leader and prayed the Almighty God to comfort his lovely wife and children, saying that he had taken solace in the fact that the late politician left a legacy which posterity would always remember him for.
Adding, “On behalf of myself, my family and Oshodi/Isolo federal constituency 2 office, I pray that the Almighty God gives his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and grant his soul eternal rest. Amen.”
